J-Basics Vox Pops - Fall 2025

We went around Oberlin College campus looking for some positivity and excitement about the beginning of the new school year. We asked students who had been the kindest to them during their first week on campus.

Oberlin College recently released a letter from our President Carmen Twillie Ambar, introducing and detailing her Year of AI Exploration Initiative, which was created to encourage students to increase their familiarity with AI. Three Oberlin students take to the streets in an effort to understand how the student body is reacting to this change.

This year, Oberlin introduced a brand new music theater program into the conservatory. The new program, led by Victoria Bussert, is currently filled with many transfer students from nearby Baldwin Wallace University, where many faculty members transferred from as well.
