J-Basics Vox Pops - Fall 2023

In a story by Kartik Ranagedhan, published by the Oberlin Review, the beginnings of construction on Woodland Street were announced. Woodland Street would be a new dorm aimed at housing upperclassmen students, meant to divert students away from village housing.

Oberlin College is known by many as a conservatory first. With that in mind, we set out to find students' favorite artists. We asked them, “who is your favorite artist and why”; leaving the question open for interpretation. The results were diverse, reflecting the many views, opinions and feelings held by Oberlin Students.
